Our journey through San Salvador, alongside UNISAL, was a whirlwind, yet every moment was profoundly meaningful. We visited five communities and touched the lives of over 200 families. This experience will stay with us forever—the smiles and laughter of the children, elders, and parents still resonate in our hearts.
These communities have been hit hard by storms, and we were able to visit Panchimalco, Ciudad Delgado, Santo Tomás, Apopa, and Nejapa. Each stop was unique and special, revealing the different needs of the people we met.
We are grateful for the basic food we were able to bring home.
It rained during our journey, but we soaked in the sun, and most importantly, we were embraced by the warmth and love of the people. Despite the challenges they face, their happiness and gratitude shone through, reminding us of the power of resilience and joy.
This experience serves as a beautiful reminder for all of us to cherish what we have, just as they do. Together, we can unite and make an even greater impact on the world.
